The Plaid Door was established in 1964 as an outreach ministry to provide quality and affordable clothing to the community.  We are a non-profit organization with proceeds going to various charitable organizations. You do not need an appointment to bring in donation items.  Our staff strives to maintain an attractive and organized store where customers can acquire quality merchandise at affordable prices.  Donation receipts for tax purposes are available upon request.

 

MEN’S, WOMEN’S AND CHILDREN’S CLOTHING MUST BE:

  • On hangers or folded nicely (hangers are available)

  • Clean and wrinkle free

  • In good condition: no holes, tears, stains, snags or pilling and all fasteners must work

 

SMALL HOUSEHOLD ITEMS MUST BE:

  • In good working condition

  • Have all their parts

  • Clean

     

JEWELRY ITEMS:

  • Necklaces must have clasps that work

  • Earrings must have backs

  • Watches must have batteries and be running

  • No missing stones

 

WE DO NOT ACCEPT - Computers & software, cameras, telephones, answering machines, electric razors, typewriters, chipped or broken dishes, dried flower arrangements, bread machines, work shirts with logos, or self-help/dieting books.  These items do not sell.
